Former CIA Director of Counterintelligence James Jesus Angleton, also known as the “Spy Poet”, described the intelligence game as a “Wilderness of Mirrors”, a phrase borrowed from a poem by T.S. Eliot entitled Gerontion (the title means “little old man” in Greek, and the poem is an internal monologue that refers to the opinions and impressions of an older man describing Europe after World War I through the eyes of a man who lived most of his life in the 19th century). I enjoyed it until the end of the second episode
Episodes, but then I found out it was on Paramount and if I wasn’t subscribed to that company, I would have had to pay or subscribe. Sorry, but it gets a little ridiculous with all the different providers we have now. It would cost a fortune, which I don’t have as a senior citizen on a fixed income. The show was well edited, the actors were good, and the show was easy to watch.
It’s worth your time if you like spy series
I don’t want to drop the series, so those of you who have a Paramount subscription, please do.
