A continuation of a single story about the settlement of the American West. It follows the adventures of characters first introduced in Horizon: An American Saga. However, after the commercial failure of Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1 (2024), New Line Cinema removed the sequel from its original release date, delaying it indefinitely. Chapter 2 premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on September 7, 2024, with a theatrical release uncertain.
We love this series so far!!
A sequel to Horizont: Američka saga – Prvo chuptu (2024). I’m leaving this review on behalf of a few of us small-towners currently residing in the San Pedro Valley in southern Arizona. This type of story is home to us. I think a lot of the negative reviews of this series come from city dwellers who probably know nothing about real life in the American Southwest.
It’s about history and reality
The rugged beauty of the Sonoran Desert is a sight to behold. We are proud to live in one of the most historically important parts of the Great 48. Costner’s series tries to remind Americans where we come from, because it is more relevant now than ever before in our history. It’s not about glamor and extreme entertainment.
You are really missing out if you don’t
I know most of you think both are boring, but maybe try to look at it from a different perspective. Don’t look at these movies the way you do at most others. Take off your colored Hollywood glasses, go back to the real world, stop expecting extreme entertainment in everything and just watch this story the way a real American would. P.S.
