Story
Touda is a traditional Moroccan singer, Cheika. Performing in the bars of her provincial town under the gaze of men, she plans to leave for the lights of Casablanca, to make herself famous and ensure a better future for her son. Morocco’s official submission for the “Best International Feature Film” category at the 97th Academy Awards in 2025.
