Story
A TV series based on the Alex Cross novels by James Patterson
Alex Cross uses forensic psychology to analyze killers' minds, delving into victims' psyches to identify the killers and bring them to justice… Aldis Hodge discusses starring in and producing the crime drama “Cross,” what he should be known for as an actor and producer, and his commitment to promoting diverse narratives through his producing work..
A spin-off based on Dr
Alex Cross by James Patterson. I’m probably one of the few people who actually enjoyed the Tyler Perry Reboot.
While other reviewers have said the show starts off slow, I disagree
It was a solid movie that only suffered from the fact that Tyler himself just wasn’t truly believable as a guy who could stand up and serve up 3-part combinations of crooks, criminals, and scoundrels. I have to admit that the potential of this reboot set the tone for this series.
With Jack Ryan seasons 2 and 3 were slower and weaker, I hope this series continues to build
In the first 5 minutes, Aldis gives a whole new definition to the detective term “Dick.” Like the Jack Ryan series, this series is worthy of being included in the genre, but this series isn’t as consistent. The stakes do rise in the later episodes, but in my opinion the series plays with a group, fades out, then comes back to life around episode 5.

I think the team here knows how to tell a great story, I just found the pacing to be lacking.
