Chronology
In “Mufasa: The Lion King,” Rafiki recounts the legend of Mufasa to Kiara, the young lioness daughter of Simba and Nala, and Timon and Pumbaa add their distinctive touches. The story, told in flashback, introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a friendly lion named Taka, the heir to a royal line. The chance meeting sets in motion a journey for an extraordinary band of misfits as they search for their destiny; their bonds will be tested as they work together to escape a deadly enemy.
